Co-Founder Kuba Suttles is a multi-instrumental musician, songwriter, producer and author. Recordings of his music including Light Of Day, The Zest Of Flying Mountain and Rise are available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more. Kuba has performed on stage with many of Canada’s top artists like Valdy, Leon Bibb and Bruce Cockburn.
Kuba teaches guitar, vocal, piano, mandolin, banjo and ukulele.
In 2014 Rahbek completed a diploma at Grant MacEwan University in Jazz Guitar. She continues to perform & record, recently opening for the Trews as lead guitarist for Edmonton rock band, Marystown. She has also recorded with Calgary rock group, T.L.L.C. Rahbek has a diverse background, ranging from intense metal styles to soft jazz, and with her passion for music, she hopes to inspire her students to be life long musicians.

Tara’s love of music from a young age has led her to achieve her Diploma in Audio Engineering at the Centre for Arts & Technology in Kelowna, BC. She is currently certified in grade 5 in RCM as well as grade 2 RCM Music Theory. She is a dedicated teacher whose students love her style of teaching.

Lisa completed RCM piano grade 10 in 2010 and is currently pursuing ARCT with Royal Conservatory in piano performance, studying with Peter Rudzik at Mount Royal University Conservatory. Her piano experience has been greatly enriched by performing in the Calgary Performing Arts Festival (former Kiwanis festival) in 2015 with the honour of a red certificate in the Competitive Adult Piano Solo. She received a GOLD award in the Competitive Adult Piano Solo.

Craig holds a BA in Sociology as well as a Bachelor of Education from Crandall University. He has been involved in music and singing on stage from the age of 6. He sang for 2 years with a professional black gospel choir called “Chorale of Reconciliation” from Montreal who released their first CD in 2006 called Heartquake/ Tremblement de Coeur. On his time off he taught guitar and helped train vocalists.

Priya is a student with a passion for music of all sorts. She has been studying classical violin and music theory since she was eight years old; she has completed her advanced rudiments, and is currently pursuing her grade eight RCM certification. Along the way, Priya has also picked up acoustic guitar and ukulele. She has attended various orchestra and chamber music summer schools and is excited to share her love of music with all students.

Tiffiny is a passionate multi-instrumentalist and advocate for musical learning and all its many benefits. She specializes in teaching piano and vocal lessons through addressing goals and supporting the particular strengths and learning styles of each student while providing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of music including rhythm, technique, and theoretical application. Tiffiny has studied through the Royal Conservatory of Music, completing her grade 9 RCM exam at the age of 15 and is currently working to complete her grade 10 ARCT.

Herbert has studied music for over 16 years and graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor in Music. He was trained classically on the piano and has experience conducting and singing with choirs. He is a very versatile musician and works well with students of all ages and abilities.

Mariah holds Bachelor of Music with a focus in vocal performance and education. Apart from Classical singing, she also enjoys working in the fields of jazz, pop, and musical theater, having competed at the Elmhurst Jazz Festival in Chicago with the University of Calgary Jazz Orchestra. Teaching has always been Mariah’s passion, her philosophy is: Achieve excellence through kindness. She loves sharing her passion, and using music to create a meaningful life.

Joshua has been playing the classical violin for over a decade and has many years of experience working with young children as well as adults. He is well versed in orchestral and chamber music and is a strong believer in the fundamentals of the instrument. Joshua welcomes students of all levels.

Samantha is a gifted young trumpet player who is excited to inspire the next generation of musicians. Currently a Grade 12 student at Western Canada High School; she is deeply involved in the renowned band program under the direction of Brendan Hagan. Samantha participates in the Grade 12 Wind Ensemble, Senior Jazz band and the Senior Jazz Combo. She is planning to obtain a performance degree from a major Canadian university and hopes to have a career in orchestral playing.

Alec is a patient and multi-talented musician. He has been playing music for over 10 years. Beginning with learning piano and musical theory, he also learned to play the guitar. Instructed in the Royal Conservatory of Music up to Grade 6, he branched off learning new styles and techniques. His favorite type of music to play and listen to is the blues. He has been asked to play at various events and gatherings as a performer to provide music for these social functions. Alec enjoys playing and is a determined individual with a desire to teach his passion to others.

Jacqueline has a passion for music. Starting with piano lessons when she was 9 she has played and sung for young adults events at church and school programs every year. Music is a huge part of her life and brings her much pleasure. She hopes to use her gifts for the benefit of others and encourage others to pursue their passions and dreams as well.

Eric grew up around music, his mother is an organist and his father plays guitar. Largely self-taught, Eric has played guitar for 19 years, electric bass for 11 years, and upright bass for 6, and has been performing on stages across the country for the last 14 years with a plethora of different musical acts. In addition to teaching music for the past 6 years, Eric stays very active in the local music scene producing and engineering records for all kinds of acts in the city, ranging from acoustic folk and alt-country, to experimental textural projects and free jazz.
